UPDATE: Armed individual taken into custody. Ward County Sheriff's Department jurisdiction, they will be handling investigation.
ORIGINAL: Law enforcement is currently dealing with an armed subject in the area of the Hwy 2&52 bypass and Hwy 83 bypass. We are asking all vehicles and pedestrians to stay out of the area. Traffic is being redirected causing major delays while the situation is handled.
