Overview
The Commission is vested with the power and the authority to fix and determine not only the benefits but the amount of the assessment each property owner should be required to pay, subject to the statutory review by the governing body provided for by state statutes.
Appointment, Membership, Term
The Mayor is the appointing authority, subject to the confirmation of the governing body; the member having the shortest term to serve shall act as chairman; no member shall hold any other municipal office while serving as such member; each appointment shall be for six years.
