The Minot Public Library Board meets on the fourth Thursday of each month at 4:15 PM, unless meeting is re-scheduled. The meetings are open to the public. A tentative agenda is available one week prior to the meeting. Meetings are held in the lower level of the Library.
To adopt rules and regulations relating to the duties of the Board and for the management of the library. To control the expenditures of the library fund. To supervise library property.
The governing body of the municipality shall appoint five directors who must be residents of the city, one of whom must be a member of the City Council or designated representative. Three-year terms (or until successor is named), with no more than 2 consecutive terms after which an interval of one year must elapse before the same member is re-appointed.
