On 11/23/18 at 01:23 AM, officers responded to the Kum and Go convenience store for a report of a robbery involving 2 suspects. When one was confronted by the employee, he pulled a knife and took multiple items of merchandise before fleeing the store.
Later on 11/23/18, at 2:02 PM, officers responded to investigate an abandoned vehicle that was reported as stolen. While investigating, they came into contact with a 16 yr old male who was eventually arrested for possession of a stolen vehicle, a class C Felony. Through further investigation, it was determined it was the same individual from the robbery of the convenience store. In addition to the possession of stolen property charge, the 16 yr old male was charged with robbery, a class B Felony. The 16 yr old is currently being held in juvenile detention. Potential charges are being reviewed regarding the second individual's involvement in the robbery.
