On 4/11/18 at 9:43 PM, Officers responded to the 300 Blk 27 Ave NW for a report of gunshots near the Polaris Park Apts. While checking the area, Officers located empty casings outside an apartment located at 320 27 Ave. NW. Officers located and detained a person of interest in the incident. A subsequent search of the subject's apartment led to the recovery of the gun used to fire multiple rounds outside of the apartment building. Thirty three year old Marcus Hill was arrested and taken to Ward County Jail for Discharging a Firearm within the City Limits (B-Mis) and Reckless Endangerment (A-Mis). While processing the firearm as evidence it was learned that the gun was listed as being stolen out of Minot. Hill was additionally charged with , Possession of a Stolen Firearm (C-Fel) and Felon in Possession of a Firearm (C-Fel).
