1. May I use cash?

Riders may use cash, but it must be the exact amount of the fare. Drivers do not make change.

2. Are the buses smoke free?

In accordance with ND State Law, all City of Minot vehicles - including buses - are smoke free. This includes "E-Cigarettes" and other vapor devices except those prescribed by a licensed physician.

3. Are masks required on city buses?

No! Effective immediately there is no longer a federal mandate to wear masks when riding the bus and when inside the bus transfer center at the city auditorium.  It is still recommended by the CDC to wear masks to decrease your exposure to the COVID-19 virus.

4. Are pets allowed on the bus?

Pets are not allowed on City Transit buses. Registered ADA service animals are certainly allowed.

5. May I bring groceries or other packages on the bus?

You may bring packages as long as they fit on the seat with you. Drivers will not assist with packages. Please keep in mind that drivers cannot make route adjustments for perishable items.

6. Are buses equipped with bicycle racks?

Most buses are equipped with bicycle racks. The driver will assist in instructing how to load the bicycle on to the rack, but riders are responsible for loading and unloading.
