Jennifer Kleen has accepted the position of Communication and Engagement Manager for the City of Minot.
Kleen has 13 years of experience in marketing and media and will join the Public Information Office in a leadership role in late September.
“Jennifer will be a great addition to the City of Minot organization and we look forward to her and her team elevating communication and engagement with our residents to an even higher level,” City Manager Harold Stewart said.
Kleen graduated from Minot State University with a Bachelor of Arts in Broadcast Communication. Her previous experience includes serving as the Executive Director of the Greater Minot Zoological Society, where she built donor relationships and promoted facilities in line with modern zoological practices. Kleen was also formerly a reporter and anchor for KX News.
“The City’s Public Information Office has grown and prospered a great deal and I am excited to be part of the organization,” Kleen said. “I look forward to promoting citizen engagement and sharing my passion and experience telling the stories of the men and women who work to further develop our thriving community.”
