The City of Minot is continually working to become a more resilient city. Efforts towards resilience began when the City of Minot was named one of 13 grantees in the National Disaster Resilience Competition. Over $74 million dollars was awarded to the City of Minot to help foster economic and environmental resilience. The City's National Disaster Resilience Program (NDR) is the spring board to a larger vision of the future of Minot that includes building sustainable economic partnerships, protecting the valley from natural disaster, and building a stronger and more prepared community.
